2 suspects killed in Khyber Agency

KHYBER AGENCY JULY 14 (TNS): Two suspected militants were killed while attempting an attack a border post in Khyber Agency on Friday morning.

According to security officials’ two militant wearing suicide vests, opened fire at the Frontier Corps’ (FC) Jarobi Camp, close to the Afghan border, and attempted to enter through the main gate.

FC personnel also exchanged fire, shooting dead one of the suicide bombers at the gate, while the other blew himself up, injuring two FC officials.

The injured FC officials were shifted to Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar for treatment through helicopter.

Following the incident, Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
