3 Chinese engineers among 6 wounded in suspected suicide attack in Chaghi



CHAGHAI: Three Chinese engineers were among six sustained injuries on Saturday in an alleged suicide attack on a convoy of Saindak Copper-Gold project employees in Chaghai district of Balochistan.

A vehicle carrying employees of the company was target of terrorists officials said adding that among the injured are two security personnel and Pakistani employees of Saindak Copper-Gold.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and security forces cordoned off the area and initiated an investigation into the attack.

Deputy Commissioner Chaghai Saifullah Khatran reached on site to oversee the investigation.

Wounded Chinese nationals airlifted to Karachi where they undergoing medical assistance.
