9 Indian security personnel injured in grenade attack in IOK 



Srinagar, June 22 (TNS): Nine Indian security personnel, including five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans, were injured in an attack by freedom fighters in occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama area.

The freedom fighters threw a grenade and opened fire when Indian personnel were on patro on Friday, a police spokesperson said.

Five CRPF jawans and four Indian police officers were injured in the attack. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

The attack comes hours after four Kashmiri youth were martyred in an so-called encounter in Anantnag district.
