Islamabad: Dec 23, 2021 (TNS): Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy in upper parts during the next twelve hours.
However, rain with snow is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Fog/smog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad eight degree centrigrade, Lahore nine, Karachi twenty, Peshawar and Quetta seven, Gilgit and Murree three and Muzaffarabad four degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantang, Shopian, Baramula while partly cloudy weather with chances of rain in Jummu.
Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag one degree centigrade, Jammu eight, Leh minus eight and Shopian two degree centigrade.
