In a statement issued in Srinagar today (Monday) , APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahamad Irfani strongly condemned the criminal negligence of the jail authorities in providing primary medical facilities to the inmates.

The APHC General Secretary sought the intervention by the United Nations to allow the people of Kashmir to decide their political future through a free and fair plebiscite.

Meanwhile, the Sikhs across the globe have stepped up efforts to press upon India to repeal death sentence to Balwant Singh Rajoana and release all nine Sikh prisoners, who have served more than twenty years in jail.
