Islamabad: Dec 27, 2021 (TNS): A review meeting of relevant formations was held on weekend and progress reviewed.
Engineering and Design Wing of CDA has finalized the designs and estimates for remaining sub-sectors of E-12 i.e. E-12/1 & E-12/4. Tenders for these two sub-sectors will be floated in a week period and work is likely to resume in last week of January, 2022.
Dev works in other 2 sub-sectors are already underway.
Also, development of Sector I-12 is on priority list of the Authority. And estimation for various works in all sub-sectors of the sector is in process and tenders for this will also be floated in 10 days period wherafter works will be starting in first week of February 2022.
Development of these two sectors will enable the Authority to hand over possession of plots to those allottees who have waited since years to construct a house in Islamabad.
Cda is targeting to award development works in balance e-12 in January and float tenders for I-12 early January. These sectors are stuck for last several decades and now work is resuming.
