A simple but impressive Annual Black Belt Graduation Dan Awards Ceremony under the auspices of the chairman and Branch Chief Pakistan Shihan Raja Khalid Mahmood held at Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex Rawalpindi. Guest of Honor Major General Haroon Sikandar Pasha (Retd.) Said that the culture of martial arts is growing rapidly in Pakistan. With world class coaching and training Pakistan has the potential to win gold medals in international competitions. He said that with the participation of a large number of women athletes it can be estimated that Pakistan has a bright future in these sports. He hoped that with hard work and dedication the Pakistani athletes can brighten the name of the nation on international level. Major General (Retd) Haroon Pasha vowed to use all his abilities to promote Pakistan’s soft image internationally by promoting martial arts at the grassroots level. On this occasion, Shehan Raja Khalid Janjua, Chairman and Branch Chief of So-Kaukshan kai Karate Pakistan, Chief Executive, Raja’s Martial Arts Civic Center, Phase 4, Bahria Town, Islamabad, said that Martial Arts is becoming increasingly popular sport in Pakistan. Strengthens the spirit of defense which keeps the players mentally prepared for international events. He said that the day is not far when Pakistan will also be the world champion in martial arts and for this purpose world class coaching and training is being provided to the players. He said that young people can become useful mentors through martial arts. The outstanding performance of the athletes proves that we can raise the head of the nation with pride by winning gold medals in world competitions.
