Info Minister reiterates govt’s resolve to eliminate extremist elements in country

Islamabad: Jan 29, 2022 (TNS): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has reiterated government’s resolve to eliminate all type of extremist elements in the country to ensure durable peace.

Addressing a news conference in Jhelum on Saturday, he said with the support of nation, our security institutions are ready to deal with any separatist element.

The Minister said any kind of extremism including religious extremism is condemnable and media should play its positive role in this regard.

The Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s upcoming visit to China will help strengthen economic ties with friendly and time-tested country. He said two more foreign visits of the Prime Minister are also scheduled during current year which will improve Pakistan’s significance at international forum.

Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said despite various challenges, our economy is on right track and current year will bring more good news from economic front. He said our industry is flourishing and agriculture sector has also witnessed a boom after a long period.

Welcoming British decision of rejecting PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s visa application, he said no stone will be left unturned to bring back the looted money of the nation. He said government will not step back from his agenda of accountability at any cost.

Regarding supply and cost of Urea, he said the price hike is due to increase in demand and supply of Urea internationally. He said efforts are afoot for availability of Urea in the market on government rates.

During his visit to the house of solider Zain Ali Shaheed in Jehlum on Saturday, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said that the sacrifices of martyrs rendered for the security of motherland will not go in vein.

He said that he fought valiantly against the militants and entire nation will remember his sacrifice for the nation.
