Islamabad: Jan 30, 2022 (TNS): Special Assistant on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam says the Ministry of Climate Change has allocated 1.5 billion rupees to trigger projects and introduce electric vehicles among masses under Green Stimulus initiative.
Talking to APP, he underlined the need of accelerating induction of electric vehicles in the country to gain dividends of the first-ever electric vehicle policy.
He said, under the Green Stimulus initiative, electric buses will be launched at the Mass Transit Metro Bus routes and also special route in the federal capital starting from Islamabad Zoo to Monal.
The Special Assistant said the initiative will help ensure safe, affordable and emissions free transport for the citizens of the capital.
