Cold, dry weather expected in most plain areas of country

Islamabad: Feb 05, 2022 (TNS): Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while very cold in upper parts during the next twelve hours.

However, cloudy weather is expected in upper parts during night hours.

While rain and snow is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Fog is likely to prevail in Sialkot, Lahore, Multan, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Joharabad, Okara, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Faisalabad.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad six degree centigrade, Murree minus one, Lahore nine, Karachi fourteen, Peshawar five, Quetta zero, and Gilgit two degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and very cold weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Shopian minus three degree centigrade, Jammu three, Leh minus thirteen, Pulwama minus two, Anantnag and Baramulla minus one degree centigrade.
