Rawalpindi: Feb 06, 2022 (TNS): CPO Rawalpindi Omar Saeed in a major reshuffle had changed SHOs of 19 police stations without following merit and keeping in view the service record of those officers.
According to him these transfers/posting were made on recommendations of a six-member committee comprising officers of SP level.
When it was realized that the wrong officers were posted in various Police Stations an attempt was made to correct the mistake by reversing these transfers within five days of appointments on the basis of inefficiency.
