Tarin appreciates World Bank’s support on reform agenda

Islamabad: Feb 08, 2022 (TNS): Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said Pakistan values the financial and technical support of World Bank for the institutional reforms and economic development in the country.

Talking to World Bank’s Country Director Najy Benhassine and his team in Islamabad on Tuesday, he appreciated and thanked the World Bank for its support in pursuing reform agenda and implementing various development projects in Pakistan.

The meeting reviewed the progress on ongoing World Bank projects and programs in Pakistan.

It also focused on Resilient Institutions Strengthening Program (RISE-II) and discussed some priority actions to be met for the timely completion of the programme.
