Karachi, July 26 (TNS): At least three suspected robbers were killed during police encounter in Karachi on Wednesday evening, officials say.
According to SSP Irfan Baloch, police was called in when a gang of robbers entered a house at Ferozabad area of Karachi.
Police rushed to scene where robbers were busy in mugging and all three culprits shot down in exchange of fire, the official added.
SSP Baloch informed the media that this gang was involved in various criminal activities including robberies.
Police also claimed to recover looted jewllary, cash, arms and other valuables.
Dead bodies of robbers were shifted to hospital for legal formalities.
