New York: Feb 15, 2022 (TNS): UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for diplomacy to defuse heightened tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
In a press encounter at the UN headquarters in New York, Guterres said all issues, including most intractable, can and must be addressed and resolved through diplomatic frameworks and there is no alternative to diplomacy.
