Islamabad: Feb 18, 2022 (TNS): Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri says the government is taking steps on priority basis to address the problems faced by the overseas Pakistanis.
He stated this at a meeting with President Asian Business Association, USA Chaudhry Akram at Parliament House on Friday. He said in this regard Parliament has given them the right to vote through legislation.
During the meeting Pakistan United States Relations, issues faced by Pakistanis living abroad and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Chaudhry Muhammad Akram thanked Deputy Speaker and appreciated the government for resolving the issues faced by the Pakistanis living abroad and giving them the right to vote.
He praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for raising his voice on international forums to eradicate Islamophobia.
