Karachi: Mar 17, 2022 (TNS): Administrator Baldia Gharbi Abdul Haleem Jagirani has said that special arrangements are being made on the occasion of Shab Barat this year as every year. He expressed these view during a meeting with Member Provincial Assembly Adeel Shehzad. Officials of mosques, imambargahs and cemeteries were also present on the occasion. Member Sindh Assembly pointed out some places and informed about the problems. The administrator said that all possible facilities should be provided to the visitors coming to the cemeteries. Lights should also be switched on as soon as possible. On Shab-e-Barat, majority of citizens come to the graves of their loved ones to offer Fateha. They should not have any problem on this occasion. Task details Informed about the special arrangements made by Baldia-e-Gharbi for the installation of temporary lights and generators at the cemeteries and its corridors in addition to the arrangements for cleaning the cemeteries and their surroundings, especially with regard to Shab-e-Barat. While all these matters are being handle by the officer’s and staff of M&D Department, B&R Department and Horticulture Department.
