Peshawar: Mar 31, 2022 (TNS): Today (31.03.2022 ) on the directions of DG FIA Dr Sana Ullah Abbasi sb and Director KP Mujahid Akbar khan to crack down against illegal business of Hawala Hundi ,DD CBC Peshawar Afzal Khan Niazi constituted a special team to conduct raid in Kohat .
The raiding team arrested accused namely Muhammad Jannan s/o Sayed Asghar and an amount of Rs. 159,000/- has been recovered alongwith receipt of hundi hawala.
Accused was doing illegal business of hawala Hundi and parallel banking without any legal authority / license. He has committed crime by violating Foreign regulation Act 1947 .
Tomorrow he will be produced before court.
