Islamabad: Jun 21, 2022 (TNS): Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a passenger vehicle coming from Parachinar at Sadda and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of a young student Zeeshan Haider. He called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to immediately arrest the terrorists involved in the incident and urged law enforcement agencies to track down the elements and conspirators behind this new wave of terrorism so as to the region from another wave of terrorism. He said that peace in the country is possible only when there is peace and tranquility in the tribal districts where people have been victims of terrorism for more than two decades.
The Federal Minister said that Shaheed Zeeshan Haider was a hardworking student who was to go abroad for higher studies but the cruel terrorists snatched him from his oppressed parents forever. He said that behind such terrorist attacks is the involvement of enemies of Pakistan who want to fan the flames of terrorism and sectarianism in the country. He said that Pakistan has sacrificed 70,000 lives in the war against terrorism and after these countless sacrifices peace has been restored in the country especially in the tribal districts.
Mr. Turi further said that peace is the guarantor of progress of any country which is not tolerated by the enemies as now the tribal districts are on the path of development.
Sajid Turi has strongly appealed to the Shia and Sunni elders and people of Kurram district to remain peaceful so that the conspirators do not succeed in their nefarious aims.
