LAHORE JULY 31 (TNS): Hitting out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday, the Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, named by the ruling family as successor to the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, slammed PTI’s ‘politics of anarchy’.
He said Imran Khan’s politics was based on “negative mindset” and “anarchy” and the PTI chief had conspired against the country’s development and prosperity through his dharna tactics. “People have grown tired of the negative and anarchy-based politics of that expert liar,” the minister said, alluding to Imran Khan. “Politicians spewing out lies cannot mislead the public,” he continued.
Mocking PTI’s slogan of ‘Naya Pakistan’, Shehbaz said those claiming to build a ‘new’ Pakistan are in fact destroying even the ‘old’ Pakistan.
