JI central executive meets at Mansoora today

LAHORE, Aug 02 (TNS): The central executive of the Jamaat e Islami will meet at Mansoora today to discuss the situation arising out of the Supreme Court decision in the Panama leaks case.

The meeting, to be chaired by the JI Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq, will also chalk out the future line of action of the party.

Meanwhile, Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has proposed setting up a JIT in every state institution to wipe out corruption in the government.

Addressing the JI workshop at Mansoora, he said that the JIT constituted by the Supreme Court for probe into the Panama leaks had given excellent results and similar JITs comprising persons of integrity could be found out for investigation into every sector or the government.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Supreme Court decision had liberated the masses from the hold of dictatorship in the garb of democracy.
