Islamabad, August 2 (TNS): A group cheating citizens for fake UK and US immigration and swindling millions rupees from innocent victims.
A prominent personality Minhaz Saeed, daughter in law of PPP’s former federal minister Ayatullah Durani, also fell prey to this fraud gang.
Complainant Minhaz Saeed said that fraud group head Humayoun Akhtar took 0.5 million Pound sterling from her for processing her daughter’s permanent immigration to UK but embezzled the amount.
Minhaz Saeed told TNS that even after one year; visa of her daughter could not be processed and when she demanded Akhtar to return her money, he provided her fake documents and started blackmailing her.
Minhaz said that due to her political back ground, she kept silent but the fraud group demanded more money from her.
She told TNS that the fraud gang head Humayoun Akhtar introduces himself as lawyer of immigration and has a network in Pakistan which traps innocent people who fall prey to their deception.
“This group loots money from innocent people, who wanted to be settled abroad, and later blackmails them, she added.
Minhaz said that influential personalities on key posts backing this group therefore no action could be taken against them.
