On 21 Feb 2023, His Excellency Danila Ganich, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan hosted a reception to celebrate “Defender of the fatherland day” at a local hotel in Islamabad. The event was attended by members of the diplomatic Corps, armed forces officers, and notables from various walks of life. Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, of Pakistan Research Center for Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) and Editor Chief of the daily Big Digit, and Advocate Raja Muqsid Nawaz, Secretary General of PRCCSF also attended the ceremony.
The diplomats of the Russian Federation also explained the importance of this day to the invitees.
