Peshawar, August 3 (TNS): As Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) abandoned alliance with PTI and quitted Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf reportedly considering Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to join its coalition government.
PTI struggling to maintain its weak majority in the K-P Assembly after QWP abandoned the coalition.
After QWP’s exclusion, which left the coalition for not supporting PTI bid to oust ex-Prime Minister, the PTI-led government is left with 61 lawmakers and 7 MPAs from its ally Jamaat-e-Islami in the 123-member House.
The remaining 55 seats belong to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and JUI-F with 16 MPAs each, QWP with 10, PPP with six, ANP with five and two independents.
