Haripur (Crime Reporter) Full-proof security arrangements were made by the police for the processions of 10th of Muharram. Walk-through gates were also installed at the entry points of the procession. The routes of the procession were cleared with the help of bomb disposal units and sniffer dogs. Snipers were also deployed on tall buildings around the procession.
DPO Haripur Muhammad Umar Khan and Deputy Commissioner Haripur Aun Haider Gondal made a detailed visit to the main procession routes of Mankra and Banda Munir Khan on 10 Muharram. SP Investigation Butgram Saeed Khan Tanoli, SP Investigation Haripur Asif Gohar, DSP Circle President Umar Hayat and other officers were also present on this occasion. DSP Circle President informed DPO Hari about the procession routes. Pur was informed in detail. DPO Haripur reviewed the security arrangements and gave instructions to make the checking process effective at the entry and exit routes of the procession and to do duty by being alert and vigilant.
