Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA)will organize a journalists workshop to improve the professional skills of sports journalists. This was stated by the former Presidents Abbas Shabir, Mohsin Ali,Ayaz Akbar, Secretary Kashif Abbasi and newly elected President RISJA, Mohsin Ejaz and others while addressing the RISJA Awards giving ceremony of the second phase in honors of sports journalists at Pakisan Sports Board Islamabad. President RISJA Mohsin Ejaz assured that the problems of sports journalists will be solved through unity . Secretary Kashif Abbasi said that the work of housing society for sports journalists will be started on a priority basis. Former President Abbas Shabbir said that RISJA is the name of a unity which will continue to work for the development of sports without any fear or favours. Former President Ayaz Akbar Yousafzai said that the cricket match between Sports Journalists Association Lahore (SJAL) and Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association Association will be played at the High Performance cricket Center of Lahore Qalandar. The match will be played in the second week of September. He said that the faces of the fraudsters in the name of sports journalists have been exposed. The names sports journalists of Rawalpindi Islamabad will be included in the International Sports Journalists Association very soon. RISJA will participate in the function of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation scheduled at karachi.
The delegation of Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association will visit Peshawar very soon, in which a meeting will be held with Amjad Aziz Malik, Secretary AIPS ASIA regarding organizational issues and congratulations will be presented to Amjad Aziz Malik for receiving prestigious awards of the country for his extraordinary services in the field of sports journalism.
