Born on October 26, 1959 in Quetta, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa’s father, the late Qazi Muhammad Isa of Pashin, was a leading leader of the movement for the establishment of Pakistan and a close associate of Quaid-i-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The ancestors of the newly elected Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa belonged to Kandahar region of Afghanistan, later they settled in Pashin region of Balochistan, his grandfather Qazi Jalaluddin Qalat was the Prime Minister of the state while his father Qazi Muhammad Isa was active in Tehreek-e-Pakistan. He was the leader. Qazi Muhammad Isa was an important leader of All India Muslim League in Balochistan province and also a member of the central committee of the party. He had the honor of being the first president of All India Muslim League Balochistan. I moved vigorously. Justice Qazi Faiz Isa became an advocate of Balochistan High Court on 30 January 1985 and Supreme Court in March 1998.
As a result of the PCO case decision, all the judges of the Balochistan High Court were relieved, so Justice Faiz Isa directly became the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court on August 5, 2009.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa was sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on September 5, 2014. Prior to his appointment as a judge in the Balochistan High Court, he used to write analytical articles on constitution and law, history and environment in English newspapers, besides being the co-author of ‘Mass Media Laws and Regulation, Balochistan Case and Demand’.
As a lawyer, he appeared in Sindh High Court, Supreme Court and Shariat Court apart from Balochistan High Court, while he was also called as an assistant and assistant in the court many times, he was a member of Supreme Court bar in addition to Balochistan and Sindh High Court. But the bar did not do active politics.
It should be remembered that a presidential reference was filed to remove Justice Qazi Faiz Isa from the post in the PTI government, which was declared null and void on the basis of the majority in the review.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa has always emphasized on the rule of law and constitution in the country in his decisions.
