Rawalpindi, under the chairmanship of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Rawalpindi Liaqat Ali Chatta along with Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Captain (retd) Qasim Ijaz, Assistant Commissioner Murree Kamran Saghir High Court instructions implementation, On the visit of Mr. Chief Minister Punjab and Chief Secretary Punjab to Murree, a review meeting was held in Tehsil Murree on the implementation/ongoing progress and arrangements for winter season/snowfall. In which the heads of all provincial departments including Punjab Police, Traffic Police, Tourism, Civil Defence, Rescue 1122, Meteorological Department, Health, RWMC, Highway Department, Forest, PHA, RDA, ISCO, Education. The participants presented their contingency plan. District Administration Murree under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Abbas Shirazi implemented the instructions issued by Mr. Chief Minister Punjab and Chief Secretary Punjab to keep tourists and local people safe during snowfall and normal life. He gave a detailed briefing on the action plan and detailed action plan prepared by all the concerned institutions and assured that the district administration is alert to provide all possible convenience and safety to the tourists. The Commissioner expressed full satisfaction with the arrangements and gave a deadline of November 15 to all the institutions and issued instructions to “immediately fill up their required staff and where there is a shortage of staff, temporarily seek staff from Rawalpindi.” Ensure implementation of detailed SOPs regarding safety arrangements in case of snowfall.
