Islamabad 16 November 2023 (Adnan Hameed) : – The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) celebrated a momentous 40th Anniversary at the Islamabad Serena Hotel, hosting a distinguished gathering of luminaries, including Chairman Senate Defence Committee Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Shahzad Waseem, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, DG Ministry of Foreign Affairs Imran Haider, and esteemed foreign diplomats.
Hosted by TRNC Islamabad Representative, H.E. Dilsad Senol, and Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, the event showcased the TRNC’s achievements over four decades. A ceremonial cake-cutting ceremony, graced by Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Shahzad Waseem, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, DG Ministry of Foreign Affairs Imran Haider, and TRNC Representative Dilsad Senol, symbolized the enduring partnership between the TRNC and Pakistan.
Representative Dilsad Senol, in her address, emphasized the profound significance of the national day, particularly in the context of the TRNC’s recent admission to the International Forum Organization of Turkic States. The celebration highlighted the deep-rooted diplomatic, cultural, and historical ties binding Pakistan and the TRNC.
