Islamabad – 27 November 2023 (Adnan Hameed) : In a landmark Scientific and Practical International Conference titled “Magtymguly Fragi and Friendship of Nations in the Modern World,” held on November 27, 2023, at the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, in collaboration with Tabani Group of Companies, convened esteemed personalities to honor the 300th birth anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, the esteemed poet of Turkmenistan.

The conference, graced by the presence of Chief Guest Syed Jamal Shah, Caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, served as a platform for deep reflections on the timeless contributions of Magtymguly Fragi to the promotion of diversity, peace, and harmony among nations.

Addressing the distinguished gathering, Syed Jamal Shah emphasized the visionary poet’s commitment to constructing a community of prosperity and stability across Eurasia, South Asia, and beyond. He stressed the need for tangible dialogue on culture and heritage, calling for collaborative efforts to strengthen cooperation in diverse fields.

Dr. Farhat Asif, President of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, highlighted Magtymguly Fragi as a true messenger of love, unity, and peace in the world. The conference witnessed the participation of Ambassador Atadjan Movlamov, who acknowledged the longstanding strong relationship between Pakistan and Turkmenistan.

Prominent speakers, including Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana and Nazarov Atabay, underscored Magtymguly Fragi’s multifaceted role as a poet, philosopher, and visionary. The conference shed light on Fragi’s enduring legacy, with Akmyrat Rejebov and Seyidov Dovletgeldi emphasizing his profound impact on the hearts and minds of the Turkmen nation.
