Haripur (Crime Reporter) Under the chairmanship of Deputy DEO Raja Babu Jahangir, the monthly review meeting of middle schools was conducted, ramps in schools declared as polling stations and instructions to install CCTV cameras in sensitive polling stations.
Under the chairmanship of Deputy District Education Officer Raja Babujangir, a monthly review meeting of the heads of middle schools of Haripur district was held on December 11 at Government Middle School No. 4, Haripur. Heads of middle schools across the district participated in the meeting. Important issues including curricular and co-curricular activities, attendance of students and teachers were taken into consideration. Deputy DEO Raja Babu Jahangir while addressing the review meeting said that character building should be given full attention in schools and in this regard the school heads themselves should lecture the children about basic ethics. He directed the heads of the schools to install CCTV cameras in the middle schools where there are sensitive and more sensitive polling stations and submit a report to the office. An anti-corruption week should be celebrated till December 15 and various activities should be done in schools in this regard.
