Rawalpindi(TNS): Foreign media and observers should be invited for free and fair elections; Azmat Ali Mubarak’s interview with FAFEN.


Awami League’s candidate for national assembly NA-57 of Rawalpindi, Advocate Azmat Ali Mubarak in an interview (FREE AND FAIR ELECTION NETWORK – FAFEN) said that that the role of the Election Commission for free and fair elections is appreciable.FAFEN is Pakistan’s first network of civil society networks striving to strengthen electoral, parliamentary and local governance.

Azmat Ali Mubarak stated that the media has played an exemplary role for voters awareness. He said that the ROs of Election Commission has a heavy responsibility for fair and
free elections. An emergency hotline should be installed for candidates those are participating in the genral elections for securty purpose. He said that minorities, women,transgenders and special persons needs special intentions for the election . Azmat Ali said that on our constitutional petition, the Lahore High Court Lahore Full Bench has issued instructions to the Election Commission in view of the convenience of the voters on sms 8300 will be fully guided for confirmation. He said that the youth leadership is liked by the people, the vote of the youth will play a key role in the elections. Monitoring teams must play their role with election laws implemetation . He said that foreign media and observers should be invited for free and fair elections so that transparent elections can be shown around the world.
