ISLAMABAD Aug 05 (TNS): I know a lot about what is going on but I am silent for the time being,” said the ousted prime minister while talking to journalists at Punjab House after returning from Murree.During an informal discussion he said that he did not draw salary from the company of his son so what was the logic to declare it.  He added that had he been involved in corruption, taking kickback or looting government treasury then there had been logic behind his disqualification. He added that he was disqualified for not declaring the salary which he never got. “Nothing can be more ridiculous than this,” he remarked.

He said that the nation is waiting when dictators will be punished for violating the Constitution of Pakistan. ‘Will punishments be given to those who have dismembered the country,’ he asked and went on to say that everyone is safe as long as Pakistan is safe and sound.Earlier, the former Prime Minister accompanied by his family members reached Islamabad from his residence in Changla Gali in Murree. Nawaz Sharif was accorded warm welcome when he entered the federal capital by PML-N workers and supporters in Bharakahu. The former premier’s convoy was surrounded by PML-N supporters, prompting Sharif to get out of his car at one point and greet the crowd.
