Saudi Arabia(TNS): A Pakistani Man’s Act of Kindness in Masjid al-Haram

About a year ago, I encountered a Pakistani brother in Masjid al-Nabawi after the evening prayer. He was engaged in a noble act, bidding farewell to worshippers by perfuming them with musk and amber. His face radiated with joy, as if he cherished these moments, filled with smiles and the language of devotion to his task within the sacred precincts of the Prophet’s Mosque. When I inquired about his work and whether he received compensation for it, he humbly responded, “No, this is voluntary. My reward comes from the gratitude, happiness, and prayers of the worshippers. I love this country and its benevolent society, and I am inspired by the remarkable efforts and attention lavished upon the Prophet’s Mosque by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

His response spurred me to delve deeper into the efforts dedicated to maintaining the Prophet’s Mosque, particularly during auspicious times such as Ramadan, Hajj, and Umrah.

The Two Holy Mosques epitomize the Kingdom’s commitment to caring for the guests of the Most Gracious, providing them with unparalleled attention and services. This commitment is evident in the monumental projects undertaken by the Kingdom to expand and enhance the facilities of the Two Holy Mosques, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030.

The architectural expansions of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque aim to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims and visitors, ensuring they can perform their rituals with ease. These expansions are meticulously planned, utilizing engineering expertise to offer the finest services year-round.

The third Saudi expansion and related projects focused on enhancing services for visitors to the Kaaba represent significant achievements in increasing the Grand Mosque’s capacity to welcome pilgrims. This aligns with the objectives of Vision 2030, aiming to host over 30 million pilgrims while maintaining high-quality standards and delivering a unique and memorable experience through the Guests of God Service Program.

In conclusion, our nation is enriched by individuals like the Pakistani brothers, who exemplify love for the Kingdom and its people through their altruistic deeds. These heartwarming stories deserve to be shared with audiences worldwide, as they reflect positively on our society and its values.
