Hundreds of journalists benefited from RIUJ, Al Falah Foundation Pakistan Medical Camp, PML-N leaders participated

(Report;..Asghar Ali Mubarak……) Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists organized a free medical camp in Rawalpindi Press Club with the support of Al Falah Foundation Pakistan in which hundreds of journalists and their families were examined by expert doctors and given free medicine.
Senator Nasir Butt, a senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, who participated in the medical camp as a special guest, said that the journalist community generally has to face mental pressure, due to which their families are also affected, in this era of inflation and busyness. He payed tribute to the Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists, who organized a medical camp for journalist community and their families. On this occasion RIUJ President Tariq Ali Work, Joint Secretaries Gulzar Khan and Mujahid Naqvi, Members Governing Body Rizwan Gilani, Ghafran Chishti, Asma Butt, Shebabt, Abdullah Butt RIUJ former presidents Abid Abbasi, Aamir Sajjad Shah, senior journalist Gul Qaiser Khan, Latif Adil and others were present. RIUJ President Tariq Ali Wirk and Senior Joint Secretary Gulzar Khan said that the union has striven for freedom of press, freedom of expression, civil liberties, human rights and supremacy of democracy and despite severe difficulties, Duties fulfilled RIUJ will continue to organize medical camps for its members and their families in the future.
National Press Club Azhar Jatoi thanked the chief guest and appreciated the organization of the medical camp by RIUJ.
Later in the free medical camp of RIUJ, MPA Ziaullah Shah, Imran Ilyas, Tahira Mushtaq, Zeib Al-Nisa. PPP Leader Ibn Rizvi, Haji Shahid Iqbal, MS Dr. Farzana Zafar of District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi, Izhar Niazi, RIUJ officials Afshan Qureshi, Ali Akhtar, Farhan, Aslam, Shahid Ajmal and a large number of senior journalists participated. RIUJ President Tariq Wirk especially appreciated the efforts of Joint Secretary Gulzar Khan and his team . He assured that all possible cooperation and said that the Rawalpindi camp office of the National Press Club should be ideal in every respect.
MPA Ziaullah Shah , PAZib-ul-Nisa appreciated the efforts of RIUJ and said that RIUJ has always fought for the welfare of the journalist community, restoration of democracy, supremacy of constitution and law, civil liberties. Member Punjab Assembly Tahira Mushtaq said that the press club is our second home.Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Rawalpindi Dr. Farzana Zafar said that ”our services are available for the journalists and their families who participated.
She appreciated the team of RIUJ and Quaid Afzal Butt.
Dr. Farzana Zafar of District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi announced to establish a separate counter in the hospital and appoint a focal person for the journalist community and their families and said that journalists are the most important section of the society for whom we need two steps.
The journalist fraternity is requested to keep in mind its objective and its expected effects while reporting the news.
Dr. Farzana Zafar said that they will continue to play their role in providing medical facilities to journalists and their families.
