The services of minorities in the judiciary, army, education, health and all sectors are unforgettable. This element of our tolerance is beautifully reflected in our national flag.
The role of minorities has been important in the construction, development and prosperity of Pakistan. All classes living in Pakistan have equal rights and religious freedom under the Constitution. Our religion also guarantees protection and social rights to minorities in every respect.
The Christian community is performing its part in every field of life in Pakistan in the best possible way. By defeating extremism, backwardness, poverty and illiteracy in the country, the real Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam can be formed. Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan was most damaged by extremism.

The Army Chief acknowledged the significant contribution of minorities and the Christian community in the cultural, social, economic and national development of Pakistan. Army Chief General Asim Munir says that the Quaid’s far-sighted leadership and unwavering determination paved the way for the construction of Pakistan.
According to the ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir attended the Christmas ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral Church, where the Christian community warmly welcomed him upon his arrival at the church. The Army Chief extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community across the country and expressed solidarity with the Christian community.
The Army Chief acknowledged the contribution of minorities and the Christian community in the country’s cultural, social, economic and national development. Speaking on the occasion, the Army Chief said that the Christian community is a source of pride and strength for the nation.
Let us reaffirm our collective resolve to transform Pakistan into the peaceful and prosperous country envisioned by the Quaid-e-Azam. His ideals of freedom, equality, and religious tolerance guide the nation to face the challenges.
All citizens should work tirelessly for this. Army Chief General Asim Munir said that the ideals of the Quaid-e-Azam inspire us to protect territorial integrity and promote internal stability. The government is striving to eliminate discrimination and promote social harmony.

Pakistan belongs to the minorities living here as much as it belongs to Muslims. Islam teaches respect for humanity, and as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it is our national responsibility to protect the rights of minorities. Islam teaches peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood and tolerance.

Everyone will have religious freedom and the state will neither promote any religion nor suppress anyone. Hindus will no longer be Hindus and Muslims will no longer be Muslims. Not in religious terms but in political and national terms.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah lived for only 13 months after the establishment of Pakistan. During his tenure, the Law Minister was a Hindu. The Foreign Minister also belonged to a minority sect.
During his life, Pakistan followed a policy of including all groups. Muslims always considered minorities as a sacred trust of Allah Almighty and paid their due respect and protection. Praise be to Allah that minorities in our beloved homeland Pakistan enjoy all the recognized civil rights and they also benefit from them.
They have the right to live, to protect their lives and property, to move , to build their own properties, to establish their own settlements, to buy, sell, adopt a profession, to build and establish their own religious and general educational and welfare institutions and to enter the country’s educational institutions, to participate in and pass the examinations for higher government jobs without any hindrance, to get jobs in the police, army and other government and semi-government departments and institutions on the basis of quota and merit.
Minority students get special minority scholarships to pursue higher education at home and abroad. Minorities have full freedom to print and distribute their religious journals, literature and holy books, to sell and correspond, and to run religious schools.
There are examples of providing land for minority places of worship, mortuaries, morgues, cemeteries and even the construction of boundary walls at government expense. They are also free to hold their religious services, meetings and conferences, take out public religious and political processions, shout slogans in public places and make speeches at intersections by stopping traffic.
Thanks to separate elections, minority people are included in government committees and councils. They have the right to vote and send representatives of their own religion, creed and ideology to local bodies, central and provincial assemblies, by their votes. They are also appointed as provincial and central ministers, advisors and parliamentary secretaries.
Minority members of the National Assembly get a regular ‘Hajj quota’ from which Christians go to ‘Rome’ to celebrate Christmas. Minorities in Pakistan are truly a sacred trust. Nowhere else in the world do minorities have the rights, privileges and freedoms that they have been given in Pakistan.
According to the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam, there is a need to promote a culture of tolerance, tolerance and brotherhood in the country. All minorities living in Pakistan are playing an important role in the construction and development of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in his message on the occasion of Christmas that on Christmas we should reflect on the message of peace, brotherhood, and love. Jesus Christ preached values like compassion, kindness, and wisdom.
Prime Minister also said that he prays that the coming year is full of hope, peace and success for the country and the nation.
On the other hand, President in his message, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Christian community in Pakistan and around the world. The President of the country has said that Christmas inspires love, generosity, mercy, unity and hope, the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees fundamental rights to all citizens.
Quaid-e-Azam gave the vision of a Pakistan where people of all religions can develop on the basis of equality, respect for the rights of all citizens is indispensable for national unity and development, and acknowledges the role of the Christian community in the development of Pakistan on Christmas.
He said that the role of the Christian community in the development of Pakistan is proof of the diversity of our nation. It must be ensured that every person in Pakistan is respected and that every Pakistani citizen feels safe.
