Islamabad (TNS) Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, President Rawalpindi Restaurants Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association, said that only the Islamabad Food Authority should have the authority to issue licenses.Islamabad Food Authority should organize seminars to raise awareness.The association assures full cooperation with the Islamabad Food Authority.
Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, President Rawalpindi Restaurants Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association, said this in a special meeting with Deputy Director Islamabad Food Authority Dr. Tahira Sadeeq.In which a comprehensive discussion was held regarding the Islamabad Food Authority’s licenses and the sealing of food points.On this occasion, President Rawalpindi Restaurants Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry said that since the establishment of the Islamabad Food Authority has been implemented۔Therefore, now the authority to issue licenses should be solely with the Islamabad Food Authority.In this regard, the Islamabad Food Authority should organize awareness seminars.When the Islamabad Food Authority completes the licensing process.So, food points should be regularly checked according to SOPs so that people can get healthy food in strict accordance with hygiene rules.He further said that people associated with the food sector should obtain a license from the Islamabad Food Authority as soon as possible so that they do not face any kind of problem.On this, Deputy Director Islamabad Food Authority Dr. Tahira Sadeeq said that our effort is to make the food sector committed to providing healthy food in accordance with hygiene principles. She said that she was grateful for the association’s cooperation.
