According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Peshawar.
On this occasion, he was briefed on counter-terrorism operations, which was attended by Federal Interior Minister, Chief Minister KP, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Aimal Wali Khan, Aftab Sherpao, Amir Muqam, Amir Haider Hoti and senior officials.
The Army Chief appreciated the sacrifices of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
The Pakistan Army Chief said that the security forces have achieved significant successes against this sedition, and with dedication, determination and sacrifices, they will achieve victory against the sedition.
He said that our forces have ensured the elimination of the leaders of terrorists, the structure of terrorist organizations has been destroyed and facilitators have been targeted, terrorists have no place on this land, we will take the war to its logical conclusion. The Army Chief said that institutions have a major role in maintaining peace and thwarting terrorist attacks.
The security forces played a full role in every operation and will firmly thwart any attempt to sabotage peace.
He said that the enemy wants to sow the seeds of hatred and fear, we will not allow it to succeed, the enemy will continue to suffer heavy losses.
In addition, the Army Chief also held talks with politicians from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
