ISLAMABAD (TNS): Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong met with Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar. According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson’s Office, they reaffirmed the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership, which is the cornerstone of bilateral relations between the two states.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the progress of CPEC 2.0, a major project aimed at enhancing economic cooperation and regional connectivity.
Both sides expressed their determination to take bilateral relations to new heights and further consolidate their strategic partnership.
During the meeting, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong met with Chinese Foreign Minister H.E. Wang Yi invites Ishaq Dar to attend the UN Security Council High-Level “Exercise on Multilateralism, Reform and Global Governance” event,
The Deputy Prime Minister, stressing Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism, accepted the invitation to attend the event in New York on February 18, 2025.
