Karachi (TNS)(Report Pirbux Noonari)Karachi On the directives of the Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, the Auqaf Department successfully carried out a major anti-encroachment operation. The operation was led by Karachi Auqaf Administrator Ayaz Ahmed Somroo, with active support from anti-encroachment authorities and Sindh Police. The crackdown took place at Dargah Miran Pir Lyari, resulting in the successful retrieval of valuable Auqaf Department land from illegal occupants. Both manpower and heavy machinery were effectively utilized to reclaim the encroached property. The Auqaf Department reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safeguarding government-owned land and emphasized that no illegal occupation would be tolerated. It further pledged that such operations will continue rigorously in the future to ensure the complete protection of its assets.
