Belgium (TNS) Pakistani Diaspora in Belgium Celebrates Pakistan Day with Patriotic Fervor
A vibrant community gathering was held tonight in a local restaurant in Brussels to mark Pakistan Day (23rd March 2025) with zeal and enthusiasm. The event brought together Pakistanis from all walks of life, reaffirming their strong bond with their homeland and their shared commitment to Pakistan’s progress and stability.
The event was organized by Raja Muhammad Khalid, chairman of the Pakistan Overseas Forum Belgium, and Farid Khan, the driving force behind the We Are Pakistan Forum, with the joint support of the community.
Honoring the Legacy of 23rd March 1940
The participants paid tribute to the historic Lahore Resolution of 23rd March 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan. They emphasized the sacrifices and unwavering determination of the leaders and people who turned the dream of a separate homeland into reality.
Acknowledging the Role of Armed Forces in Pakistan’s Stability
A special segment of the gathering was dedicated to acknowledging the sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces in ensuring the security and stability of the nation. The Community Leader Sardar Saddique expressed profound appreciation for the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army, under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, in safeguarding national sovereignty and countering internal and external threats.
Unity Among the Pakistani Diaspora
The event served as a platform for the Pakistani diaspora in Belgium to express solidarity with their homeland and reinforce their role in promoting Pakistan’s positive image globally. Participants reiterated their dedication to contributing to Pakistan’s prosperity and fostering unity among overseas Pakistanis.
