ISLAMABAD (TNS) Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association celebrated Thanksgiving Day. Journalists from the twin cities have warmly welcomed the promotion of General Syed Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal.
Speaking on the occasion, founder president South Asian Sports Journalists Association Asghar Ali Mubarak paid tribute to the Pakistan Army. He said that the “Operation Banyan Marsus” of the war of truth has proved that the Pakistan Army is the best army in the world. He said that the nexus of Hindus and Jews was defeated with the power of unity. The revival of cricket in Pakistan has proven that Pakistan is a country of cricket lovers. Asghar Ali Mubarak praised the unparalleled strategic intelligence of the Army Chief. He said that honoring those who instill fear in the hearts of enemies is the hallmark of dynamic and resilient nations.
