Islamabad (TNS) Director General Media National Assembly Zafar Sultan Khan has thanked the Parliamentary Reporters Association for its cooperation during the budget session.
The Director General Media National Assembly has thanked the Parliamentary Reporters Association (PRA) President Usman Khan, Secretary Naveed Chaudhry, Vice President Ahmed Nawaz, Finance Secretary Asghar Chaudhry, Information Secretary Javed Hussain, Joint Secretary Shakir Abbasi and members of the governing body including Ms. Asia Ansar, Javed Noor, Ayesha Naz, Nader Gurmani, Abdul Razaq Khati, Atif Shirazi and Saima Malik for their cooperation in providing excellent coverage during the budget session.
Talking to President PRA Usman Khan, Secretary Naveed Chaudhry, the DG Media National Assembly said that the press gallery is a part of the parliament. The role of the media during the budget session is noteworthy.
Members of the international media, journalists from all over Pakistan for the budget session also appreciated the facilities provided by DG Media to the National Assembly of Pakistan and thanked them for providing the budget session documents in digital and hard copies on time. It should be remembered that the Director General Media of the National Assembly of Pakistan is responsible for media relations and information. He is presumably part of the National Assembly Secretariat and is responsible for disseminating information about the National Assembly to the media. DG Media is a key official within the National Assembly who is responsible for organizing media relations, ensuring the dissemination of accurate information and keeping the media informed about the activities of the National Assembly. The responsibilities of DG Media of the National Assembly include developing and implementing a media strategy for the National Assembly, managing interactions with media outlets and journalists, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to the public, handling media inquiries, organizing press conferences and media events, and supervising media coverage of the National Assembly.
