ISLAMABAD (TNS): An important meeting was held at CDA headquarters chaired by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Officers attended. The meeting discussed the implementation of the Beautification Plan to make Islamabad more beautiful, to enable the Food Street and Parking Plaza in Blue Air or to make the Solid Waste Management system more effective and promote the promotion of sports and healthy activities for the citizens of Islamabad.
The meeting was briefed on various steps to make Islamabad a sports friendly city.
It was informed in the meeting that the CDA’s Sports and Culture Directorate has opened the open auction of five pedal courts at various places at the behest of the Chairman CDA, which will generate a record income of Rs 76 lakh monthly to the CDA. The meeting was informed that in light of the orders of Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the CDA’s planning wing has been allocated for 25 football and 25 cricket grounds, which will gradually be started. The Chairman CDA said that the construction of the Blue Area Pedestrine Track and the establishment of the Food Court should be completed as soon as possible, besides establishing excellent design pathways. He said that all the work of the parking plaza in the Blue Area should be completed as soon as possible so that it can be opened for the convenience of the people.
Chairman CDA said that in addition to installing more beautiful and modern lights in all the major and small parks, especially F Nine Park and Lake View Park in Islamabad, facilities should be increased. In addition, the Chairman CDA approved the proposal to set up a dancing fountain in F Nine Park, and directed it to start work according to the law.
He said that making Islamabad a beautiful city in the world, promoting environmentally friendly plants and tourism, launch of electric buses while cable car, theme park and farewell plans are being finalized in accordance with the law.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed that beautiful lights be installed on all major highways, including Club Road, Faisal Avenue, Jinnah Avenue, Margalla Road and Express Way. In addition to making the Solid Waste Management System more active in the meeting, it was decided to buy modern machinery to help further improve the quality of the city’s cleaning.

He said that all projects are underway to improve the public residential, travel, sports and entertainment facilities. The completion of these development projects will enhance the beauty of the city, he said.
