KARACHI (TNS) Karachi On the special directives of Mauripur Town Chairman Humayun Muhammad Khan, an important meeting was held to finalize preparations for the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman Asif Kausar and Town Municipal Commissioner Javed Qamar, with participation from council members, scholars of various schools of thought, organizers, and officials from relevant departments.
Participants emphasized ensuring cleanliness along procession routes, proper lighting arrangements, installation of manhole covers, slabs, and activation of Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and Water Board to facilitate the smooth celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
Addressing the gathering, TMC Javed Qamar said that the arrival of Rabi-ul-Awwal is a blessing for the Muslim Ummah, and the administration will strive to provide the best possible arrangements. Vice Chairman Asif Kausar added that this month is one of light, blessings, and celebrations, and it is their honor to serve the people during such a sacred occasion.
