ISLAMABAD (TNS) PERFORMANCE REPORT OF ACC ISLAMABAD ZONE, ISLAMABAD

FIA Anti-Corruption Circle, Islamabad, achieved significant milestones in 2025:
– Finalized 485 inquiries against various federal departments and registered 389 new inquiries based on complaints.
– Registered 122 cases against accused individuals from federal departments and finalized 67 cases, with challans submitted in courts.
– Arrested 132 accused individuals.
– Recovered Rs. 110.25 million.

MAJOR CONVICTIONS
1. Imran Ahmed Niazi, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Bushra Imran were sentenced to 17 years imprisonment each and fined Rs. 16,425,650 each in the Toshakhana II case (20.12.2025).
2. Qamer Zaman was sentenced to 27 years and fined Rs. 2 million (FIR No. 46/2020, 16.04.2025).
3. Hamid Jalil was sentenced to 29 years and fined Rs. 20 million (FIR No. 45/2022).
4. Nasim Masih was sentenced to 17 years and fined Rs. 100 million (FIR No. 30/2024, 10.07.2025).
5. FIA ACC Islamabad convicted 64 accused in 20 cases in 2025.

FIA ACC Islamabad’s performance in 2025 was outstanding, demonstrating dedication and professionalism in combating corruption.
