Rawalpindi (TNS) Khelta Punjab Pink Games; Trials of Rawalpindi Division Women’s Teams Begin

Rawalpindi (TNS) Trials of Rawalpindi Division women’s teams for Khelta Punjab Pink Games have begun, trials of karate and mass wrestling teams were held on the first day. 51 players participated in the karate trials for Khelta Punjab Pink Games at Liaquat Bagh Sports Complex Rawalpindi under the auspices of Rawalpindi Division Sports Department, out of which 8 players were selected. The selected karate players of Rawalpindi Division include Diya Siraj, Anzala Nadeem, Tubi’, Muqaddas Fatima, Fiza Abid, Zainab Jamshed, Mashal and Aiza. 33 players participated in the mass wrestling trials, out of which 8 players were selected: Seemab, Laraib, Pakeeza, Laiba, Ayesha, Ayesha Arwa, Nimra Azram and Hadiya. The trials were supervised by DO Sports Waheed Ahmed, DSO Shams Tohid Abbasi and officials, while Member of Punjab Assembly Ms. Tahseen Fawad was the chief guest. Remember that Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced that more than 3,000 female athletes will take part in the Khelta Punjab Pink Games, the largest women’s sporting event in the province, scheduled to be held from February 11 to 15, 2026.
