According to the details, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting to review crime prevention measures and security arrangements for the holy month of Ramadan.The meeting was attended by zonal SPs, SDPOs, and all SHOs. During the meeting, a detailed review of the overall law and order situation, existing security arrangements, and crime control strategies was conducted.SSP Operations directed officers to ensure the protection of citizens lives and property at all costs and to continue indiscriminate action against criminal elements.He issued strict directives for crackdowns against land grabbers, illegal weapons holders, and drug peddlers. Officers were instructed to accelerate operations against active gangs, proclaimed offenders, habitual criminals, and groups involved in motorcycle and car theft.A zero-tolerance policy was reiterated against kite selling and kite flying, while tenant registration was also emphasized. Effective action was ordered against professional beggars and their facilitators.Moreover, special security arrangements for Ramadan were also reviewed. Walk-through gates have been installed at masjids, and additional personnel have been deployed to facilitate and protect worshippers.Foolproof security measures were directed during Iftar and Taraweeh hours. Patrolling and checking mechanisms were ordered to be further strengthened, while officers were instructed to ensure field presence, particularly during prayer timingsSSP Operations reaffirmed that maintaining peace, protecting citizens, and ensuring public safety remain the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
