ISLAMABAD (TNS) Farewell ceremony held in honour of retired officer According to the details, a farewell ceremony was organized at Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad in honour of Inspector Ejaz Ahmed Ghazi, who retired from Islamabad Police Model Jail. The ceremony was attended by SSP Federal Prisons Ali Akbar as the chief guest. DSP Training, Capital Police College, Mashooq Dahri, along with other police officers was also present on the occasion.SSP Federal Prisons appreciated the services rendered by Inspector Ejaz Ahmed Ghazi to the police department and stated that retirement is a part of service, whoever begins service will one day retire. He added that the retired Inspector had served the police department for a long period. During service, everyone should strive to perform deeds that bring honor to their name and ensure they are remembered in good words.He emphasized that all officers should commit to serving the public to the best of their abilities in order to seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah.On this occasion, the retiring officer expressed his happiness over the recognition and thanked the police department. At the end of the ceremony, the services of the retiring officer were acknowledged, and he was awarded an honorary police shield and gifts, along with best wishes for his future.
