The Ministry of Interior under the dynamic leadership of Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Interior has unveiled an innovative and sustainable development initiative aimed at transforming Islamabad into a modern, environmentally sustainable, and globally competitive capital city with an innovative infrastructure and a vibrant economy. Central to this vision is the creation of a 1,000 acre world class park at the foothills of the Margalla Hills. This landmark and historic project, with its holistic approach has announced during a high level meeting chaired by Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi at CDA Headquarters, Islamabad which reflects a broader strategy to enhance urban infrastructure, attract international investment, and improve the quality of life for the residents of federal capital.
The new initiative of park on 1000 acres represents a major step toward expanding green spaces in the capital. Islamabad is already known for its natural beauty and planned layout, but this initiative seeks to elevate it further by providing a large, accessible recreational area designed to meet international standards.
