Islamabad (TNS) DIG and Zonal SPs Hold Open Courts to Address Public Grievances Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, SP City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain, and SP Saddar Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan held open courts at their respective offices under the Open Door Policy to ensure the prompt redressal of citizens’ grievances.During the open courts, citizens presented complaints regarding land encroachments and other civic issues. DIG Islamabad and the Zonal SPs attentively listened to the complainants and directed the relevant officers to take legal action on the marked applications within the stipulated timeframe and submit compliance reports.Speaking on the occasion, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that Islamabad Police follows a zero-tolerance policy towards violence against women and children. He emphasized that providing maximum relief to the public remains one of the force’s highest priorities and that the rule of law will be upheld under all circumstances.He further stated that every citizen is equal before the law and that all complaints and applications will be dealt with strictly on merit. He reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains the foremost responsibility of Islamabad Police and affirmed the force’s unwavering commitment to ensuring justice, transparency, and public service.
